Hey Guys!
Today is our last day of class and boy have I learned a lot!  I can't wait to start using all this new knowledge with my kiddos this year.  It has been awesome taking classes with my classmates this summer and I am going to miss them all until we meet again.  I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer.

I love Wordle! It is an awsome tool for kids to brainstorm vocabulary and detail topics.  I hope it is availbale at school because it is so easy to use that I'll have my students start out with it immediately.  I be I can print it out and make a poster out of it.  Totally excited now!

Still working on my final project and presentation.  Monday was another day full of new programs to visit.  I got a chance to visit the ISTE Nets webpage and use it for our lesson plan.  It's a great resource to use when planning and integrating technology.  Can't wait to explore in class today.

I enjoyed both virtual presentations we were part of today.  I am so excited about using all the websites we learned about.  I loved the presentation from NASA and am going to email my 5th grade team about getting a group lesson set up by October.  Lots of learning today!

Today I enjoyed learning how to create a Prezi.  I tried multiple times during this year but could not understand how to create one.  So I am very excited about making more prezis this year especially because I know my students will enjoy them.  My goal is to have them create one as well.  Let's see what tomorrow will bring!

Hey guys! Monday's Tech Class

Our summer tech class gave us a lot of things to do today.  I got the chance to use a variety of different internet programs that are good resources for the classroom.  I created an organizer in Inspiration for my students to use the next school year. The organizer offers ideas of things they can do afterschool.  My goal is to have them create their own organizer and use mine as the example.  I am very excited to learn these new programs that I can take back to my school and share with our grade level team members.
