I enjoyed both virtual presentations we were part of today.  I am so excited about using all the websites we learned about.  I loved the presentation from NASA and am going to email my 5th grade team about getting a group lesson set up by October.  Lots of learning today!

Today I enjoyed learning how to create a Prezi.  I tried multiple times during this year but could not understand how to create one.  So I am very excited about making more prezis this year especially because I know my students will enjoy them.  My goal is to have them create one as well.  Let's see what tomorrow will bring!

Monday's Tech Class

Our summer tech class gave us a lot of things to do today.  I got the chance to use a variety of different internet programs that are good resources for the classroom.  I created an organizer in Inspiration for my students to use the next school year. The organizer offers ideas of things they can do afterschool.  My goal is to have them create their own organizer and use mine as the example.  I am very excited to learn these new programs that I can take back to my school and share with our grade level team members.

Hi there all teachers in America.  Hope everyone is enjoying the summer.  Just opening a new blog to complete the requriements for a technology class for educators I am taking over the summer.  While this is for a requriement, I am going to try to keep the blog alive and have teachers from other parts of the country share their best ideas to use in the classroom.
